Phil is a Consultant Child Psychologist with experience of diagnosis and assessment of children across the spectrum as well as having been Director of an autism specific school and service for 30 years. He also has a background in research, training and publications, with particular emphasis on very young children and those with a diagnosis of Pathological Demand Avoidance syndrome.
Ruth has experience of working with autistic children and young people as a senior leader in a special school and as an independent education consultant. She works across the UK providing advisory input and training to families and professionals who support children and young people who attend school as well as those not able to attend school settings.
Suzanne has extensive experience of working with pupils with special educational needs. She has had responsibility for managing and developing curriculum and assessment procedures and for monitoring pupil outcomes across all key stages and ability levels. Suzanne has been involved in developing and delivering Autism Education Trust training and materials and was project leader for the development of the AET Autism Progression Framework. She currently works both independently and for a Local Authority Team where she supports pupils to re-engage with learning and return to school following a period of non-attendance.
Linda has experience as a registered Ofsted inspector with many years experience leading a local authority autism outreach service, providing consultancy, training and supporting whole school developments. She has worked extensively in developing and delivering training materials for the Autism Education Trust and has been a visiting lecturer at Nottingham Trent University.
